Our classes explained: which one is right for you?

We run a mix of classes at ROK BOX, and we’re often asked what the differences are. Here’s a quick guide to help you choose where to start. Every class can be adapted to your level, so don’t worry about not being “fit enough” to join in.

Group class

Our core fitness classes are open to everyone. They’re different every day, using a variety of training methods including strength and conditioning, Metafit/Metapower, tabata, circuits and bootcamp-style sessions. Great if you like variety and a bit of team spirit.

Family class

Our usual group class, with adaptations so children aged 4 and over can join in. It’s a great way to have fun as a family and get fit at the same time, and it means childcare never has to be the reason you miss a workout.

Kids only class

Sessions designed just for our junior members: an introduction to fitness and regular exercise, and a great way to keep kids entertained while you do your own workout. Suitable for ages 4 and up.

Boxing

A full-body workout based on boxing training technique, using gloves and pads. Suitable for all fitness levels and abilities, and a brilliant stress-buster.

Spinning

A fast-paced group indoor cycling class, where you’ll be led through a variety of resistance and speed intervals with a high-energy playlist. Again, suitable for all fitness levels.

Rok Bodies

Our small group training programme, with focused coaching and nutrition guidance to help you reach your goals. Courses run in blocks with three sessions a week, and numbers are capped at 8 per session so everyone gets proper attention. Find out more on the Rok Bodies page.
